Characterised by vast expanses of farmland and small towns, the landscape of the Terra dei Tiepolo is an   "invention" of the Romans who, two thousand years ago, traced out the great work of engineering known   as the "Graticolato Romano".

The evocative name "Terra dei Tiepolo" is a reference to the strong bond linking this area with the Tiepolo family.
